Your National Ladder Steward

My name is John Bridge, I am older than you think and have been gliding since 1979. So far I have collected over 5800 gliding hours, mainly in the UK but including many hours in the French Alps - please visit our Sisteron Diaries site for a flavour of the mountains. I am not a competition pilot but I do enjoy flying long distance cross-countries in my LS6c (245), usually in 17.5m mode, from the Cambridge Gliding Centre. I have 3 Diamonds and a UK 750km Diploma.

I am married to Ariane Decloux, another experienced 3-Diamond LS6c (122) pilot who lets me go gliding provided I get back in time to go on her retrieve.
